RMA Group Founder Dies at 84 (Oct 21, 2015)
RMA Cambodia is immense sadness to inform you of the passing of Mark Ingle Whitcraft the Founder and Chairman of the RMA Group at the age of 84.
Mark started life with humble beginnings having lost his father at a young age. This forced him to start working at the age of ten. He was strong and healthy despite having had heart problems dating back to 1978 when he had a heart attack. He still enjoyed working until his health deteriorated at the end of April this year. For him family always came first, but a close second was his passion for RMA and he was very proud of the organization his colleagues run and have helped to build.
Mark’s vision of the RMA Group was to build a lasting business enterprise which conducted business with integrity. He was a believer in sustained profitable growth of the business and to participate in the markets for the long term. As a modest man his needs were simple and this showed as a shareholder where his focus was never on the short term returns, thereby allowing RMA to reinvest and grow to the geographic spread and business size which we enjoy today.
Besides just business for him RMA was a family enterprise where the personal relationships mattered.
Mark passed his seventh cycle birthday on the 30th of August 2015.
